Aksen is a humanist sans-serif typeface that draws influence from Roger Excoffon’s Antique Olive. Its design is formed by the rounded, curving letters found in ancient Greek and Roman inscriptions but is implemented with a contemporary and pragmatic approach.

This typeface comes in 56 styles consisting of four widths and seven weights, each with matching italics. Also available in variable font format, Aksen Variable boasts three variable axes: width, weight and italic. These axes open up a plethora of stylistic choices making this typeface highly adaptable. Aksen is a versatile typeface that seamlessly blends contemporary humanistic aesthetics with a touch of historical sophistication, making it a perfect fit for a wide range of design applications.

Desktop License

Desktop License allows the use of the font software on a desktop or laptop computer to create static images, printed material, logos, etc. The license permits the use of the font software for personal or commercial projects, including creating printed materials. Desktop License is limited to a specific number of users who can install and use the font software on their computers. Additional users over the specified limit will require additional licenses.

Web License

Web License allows the use of the font software on a website for personal or commercial purposes. The font software can be embedded in web applications and web services by using @fontface method. Web License is based on the number of “Monthly Page Views” a website receives where the font is embedded. Different tiers may be available based on the volume of page views, such as 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000, or unlimited views.

App License

App License allows the use of the font software in mobile, desktop, or web applications. The application can be distributed to customers or users, provided that the font software is included in the application's distribution. App License is determined by the number of downloads the app is expected to receive. Each unique app that embeds the font software will require a separate license based on the anticipated number of downloads.

Video & Broadcasting License

Video & Broadcasting License allows the use of the font software in video productions, including broadcasting, streaming, and other forms of video content. (e.g YouTube, Netflix, TikTok, etc.). The video content can be distributed and published across multiple geographic broadcasting regions and online platforms to the audience, provided that the font software is included in the video content. Video & Broadcasting License may have restrictions based on the number of videos in which the font software will be used. Each unique video project will require its own license to ensure compliance with the terms of use.
